Title 1 Parent Involvement Plan
Research shows that family involvement and engagement in a child’s education is a greater predictor of academic success than the family’s economic status. The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), Title I, Part A program regulations require robust family involvement activities that build partnerships, between parents and educators, at every district and school that receive these federal funds. These parent involvement and engagement reflect shared accountability between schools and parents for high student achievement and efforts to building parents’ capacity for using effective practices to improve their own child’s academic achievement. Community of Peace Academy’s Title 1 Parent Involvement Plan can be read or downloaded here.
